My Flight Journal

Friday, August 20, 2004 8:47am

Did my first post-hurricane flight today. Made the same trip to TIX and back. Had time for 2 T&Gs over there this time. Still put 1.0 on the clock.

Flew a different 172 today because the one I normally fly is doing its impression of a carrier plane. One wing is pointed 90 degrees straight up and the other wing is pointed 90 degrees straight down. The hurricane also destroyed our only low-wing trainer. In all, I think we lost 3 planes totaled, and another 3 or 4 with pretty significant damage.

I gotta find time on the weekend to do something longer than a 1.0 flight.
