My Flight Journal

Another 1.4 tonight of nothing but landings (14 of em, plus 1 go around). I had a bit of an epiphany when I read somewhere that the round-out and flare are really the same thing. It's one continuous, constant-rate motion - the higher the descent rate, the faster the motion. Once I got that into my head I was landing on the mains and holding the nose wheel off for as long as I wanted. On one of my touch and goes I think I only tapped the nosewheel on the pavement briefly before picking it back up again and lifting off.
Probably won't fly again till Sunday afternoon - if the weather plays nice.
