My Flight Journal

Sunday, July 25, 2004 11:00am

Did another 1.2 today. Just flew over to Titusville (TIX) and back. It was pretty hazy out, but you could still the Vehicle Assembly Building and launch pads over at Kennedy. Sanford was busy as hell and they only had 1 tower frequency up. I had to do 4 or 5 360s while waiting for a break so I could call inbound. If the weather is good this week, my next flight is going to be a solo without my instructor even being at the airport. He told me just to go out to a practice area and work on whatever I want, just try and put at least 1.5 on the plane. Assuming I get that done this week, I'll probably do my first solo x- country on the weekend.
